The Parker Balston UHPN2-1100 Ultra High Purity (UHP) Nitrogen Genera¬tor is a completely engineered system which will convert compressed air into UHP-grade nitrogen. The system utilizes a combination of purification technologies including filtration, catalytic oxidation, and pressure swing adsorption. The UHP Ni¬trogen Generator is designed to provide high purity nitrogen gas for analytical instrumenta¬tion and other laboratory applications. The UHP Nitrogen Generator is certified to the electrical requirements as specified by the IEC, CSA, and UL standards. These units bear both the CSA and CUL markings on the product label. The Parker Balston UHP Nitrogen Generator includes all the components required to con¬vert compressed air into ultra-high purity nitrogen. The system can be broken down into four primary stages: prefiltration, hydrocarbon removal, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water vapor removal, and final filtration. Typical applications include GC make up gas, solvent evaporation, DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) and virtually any analytical instrument that requires a small flow of ultra-high purity nitrogen.
