Valco fittings are designed to create good fluidic connections in the HPLC system. A proper connection can be the difference between good and bad separation of your analytes in your chromatography. Most Valco fittings are a compression fitting design, meaning that the ferrule is compressed into the tubing as the nut is tightened into the port.
