Choosing a Manual HPLC or GC Syringe

• Microliter vs. gastight - gastight syringes have an inert PTFE plunger tip that creates a gastight seal so they work well for long dispense times, heterogeneneous solutions, or viscous liquids.
• Point styles - beveled, blunt, conical with a side port, or conical non-coring.
• Syringe terminations - cemented needles, luer tips, knurled hub, and fixed needles
