Provides economical protection from the harmful effects of sample and mobile phase particulates on modern HPLC and other high resolution HPLC columns. This disposable filter was engineered specifically for use in fast, high efficiency separations requiring high mobile phase velocities and ultra high pressure. Maintains the efficiency of high performance columns assuring no loss of critical resolution.
Port and Male compatibility:
Halo compatible: works for Halo, Parker, Agilent, and most other manufacturers except Waters. It would still be used with Waters, but with extra space at bottom of port.
Waters compatible: works for Waters
How to tighten the filter to Column: Simply tighten the guard column housing assembly with a 5/16" wrench until it is snug, followed by an additional 1/4 turn.
