Cap, crimp, rubber septa, 2 mL, 100/pk. These 11 mm silver aluminum crimp caps come as a 100/pk and include a press-fit septum made from natural red rubber. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications, however, is one of the main choices for GC and GCMS applications where the sample is more volatile and/or were snap or screw style vials are not appropriate. This crimp version is also a great option for added security as once crimped the sample is secure. The user will require a crimping/decapping tool when using that come in 2 versions: the economic manual version or a premium electronic version. It is compatible with all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery vials. These crimp caps being press-fit (non-bonded) are the most sustainable cap option as the various components can be separated for easier disposal and recycling.
